Manners International provides professional etiquette and protocol workshops designed to give the busy executive an edge in today's competitive corporate marketplace.

The thought-provoking sessions are conducted by a team of professionals from the professional, diplomatic and military communities who share expertise and experiences from their respective careers in business etiquette and protocol.

Workshops are conducted at our San Diego Support Center and may also be scheduled onsite at the client's location, hotels, convention centers, and conference facilities.

The "Make A Successful Impression" workshop includes information segments on introductions and forms of address, career wardrobe, continental dining etiquette and executive entertaining, deference, verbal, written and electronic communications, office decorum, corporate meeting protocol and social graces in the new millennium.

This programs is presented in a two-day, full-immersion format. The fee is $1100.00 per participant. Group discounts are available. Please contact us for details.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants receive a Manners International Certificate of Completion, a comprehensive curriculum support packet and a Manners 2000 - Etiquette for the New Millennium Video or DVD. The curriculum support packet includes learning aids, handouts and materials that will assist the participant after the completion of the workshop

"Make A Successful Impression" Workshop Curriculum Details.

  • "Greeting and Introductions" :  How to make proper introductions in both business and social situations. How to be introduced in business and social situations. Use of proper forms of address. Correct body language during interpersonal communications. How to make a positive and lasting first impression.

  • "Career Wardrobe" : Differences in business casual and traditional business attire. What to wear during business functions to portray a professional image for your company. Proper attire for business entertaining and out-of-the-office events. Professional wardrobe and personal image for business travel.

  • "Social Graces for the New Millennium": Changing gender roles and diversity in the workplace. Correct etiquette for office events and parties. 

  • "Continental Dining Etiquette" : How to dine correctly using Continental-style. Difference between Continental and American-style dining. Restaurant and event etiquette. Formal place settings and seating protocol. Hosting business dining events.

  • "Verbal, Written and Electronic Communications" :  Written correspondence etiquette and protocol (i.e.business letters, invitations, thank-you notes, inter-office communications). Telephone and cellular phone etiquette. Email and Internet etiquette and protocol. (i.e Email formatting, Acceptable Internet Usage Policy Guidelines).

  • "Office Decorum" : Meeting and office protocol. Office and cubicle etiquette. Deference of rank and position.
