Etiquette!   Manners!  Fun! Dance!  Exercise 

The Ryan Group, Inc./Manners International is again offering an exciting season of etiquette and dance workshops. Girls participating in the etiquette programs will work with professionally trained adults on exploring communication skills, making a good impression, and being thoughtful of others. Fitness experts will again conduct unique and inspiring dance and movement workshops.

Manners International – The Ryan Group, Inc. will to travel to your location , provided the venue meets the space requirements for delivering the program, and the attendees meet the minimum attendance requirements of 20 participants or $140.00 ($7.00/girl) and $160.00 ($8.00/girl) for the tea party workshops.  For additional information or to request a specific date and time for an off-premise workshop, please call 800-870-9185.

Being A Friend: Etiquette and manners for everyday, parties, telephone introductions, and smiling faces.

Teddy Bear Tea: Practice being friends in a fun party setting.  Prerequisite: “Being a Friend” workshop.

Manners: Learning to respect others at home, school, and on the playground; table manners; table setting.  Fulfills the requirements for the “Manners” Try-It.

  ** NEW ** Advanced Manners: At a formal table setting, learn the fine art of dining, party and restaurant manners.  Prerequisite: “Manners” workshop.

You’re Invited: A teatime setting to practice party manners; introductions; respecting others.  Prerequisite: “Manners” workshop.

Fun with Dance: Develop healthy bodies incorporating dance, creative play and exercise while meeting “Dancercize” Try-It requirements, and have a fun experience with Aerobics, Creative Expression and Performing Arts.


Self-Expression: Making a good first impression, beginning communication skills.

R.S.V.P: High tea - the perfect occasion to practice making a good impression.  Prerequisite: “Self-Expression” workshop.

MOVE: Experience the energy of movement through dance and music from classical ballet to hip-hop!  Learn dance steps, choreography and about the influence of music while participating in a self-expression dance routine.  Meets the  “Dance” badge requirements.

Note: Junior troops desiring a workshop on table manners may schedule a session for the Advanced Manners curriculum


School and Job Interview: Communication skills for your first interview.  Fulfills some requirements of the “Career Exploration” interest project.
